Two killed, one injured in road mishap

Two bike riders died on-the-spot and another sustained serious injuries after their bike collided with a van at bypass junction at the outskirts of Lingasugur, about 100 kms from Raichur, on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Veeresh Badiger (30) and Nagaraj (24), residents of Kasaba Lingasugur and Lingasugur town respectively. The injured, Hanumanth (30), has been admitted to local government hospital. The police said that all the victims were riding on a single bike when the accident occurred.

Lingasugur Circle Inspector Veerabhadrayya Hiremath and PSI Gururaj Kattimani visited the spot. A case has been registered in Lingasugur Police Station.
