Midway through the technical fest ‘TechTatva 2015’, organised by the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), things have started revving up, particularly after the first day was lost to rains.

It was a damp start, but on Friday events such as ‘Air Gun’ and ‘Swades’ have given the fest the much-needed boost and every event was turning out to be a big draw, said a release by Manipal University.

At the Quadrangle in MIT, the students cut thermocol into numerous shapes, as they competed zealously in the event, ‘Metal Man’. Gaming was a hit, as all the delegate-cards were sold out and the event heads had to work over time. ‘Swades’ proved to be a lively competition. At the MIT Quadrangle, the stunt media drew a huge crowd. Constructure’s ‘Make-O-Manipal’ gave the students an opportunity to step into the corporate world with a chance to re-build the Manipal of their dreams. Although TechTatva is traditionally ushered in with flagship events such as Robowars or Fuel RC, the technical paper presentation competition yet again validated itself as an indispensable part of the fest.
