Activists of the Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha (KPRS) staged a dharna outside the taluk office at Srinivasapur recently demanding a solution to the fodder problem.

Cattle and other livestock in the taluk were suffering from fodder shortage due to drought situation, the protesters said.

The taluk administration should open goshalas in every village of the taluk, they said.

The protesters dispersed after Tahasildar D. Vidyavathi assured them of measures to solve the problem. KPRS district president P.R. Suryanarayan participated in the agitation.
