Ex-servicemen, under the banner of the National Ex-Servicemen Coordination Committee, held a protest demanding ‘One Rank, One Pension’ facility here on Friday.
In a memorandum addressed to the president, the ex-servicemen of this region said that the government must recognise the special nature of commitment and the sacrifices of the armed forces.
The government should take a quick call on implementing the facility and make a time-bound decision in this regard, they said. The undue delay is affecting the morale of personnel, they said.
