B. Sriramulu, MP, was non-committal on the future plans of his friend and mining baron G. Janardhan Reddy, who is expected to walk out of jail on Friday.
“It is for Mr. Reddy to decide his plan of action politically or other wise. As a friend, I am happy that he has got bail and that he will come out jail after 40 months. I have not discussed with him in this regard...,” he told The Hindu here on Thursday.
Model village
On the issue of developing a model village, Mr. Sriramulu said he had identified Tambarahalli in Hagari Bommanahalli taluk for the project and was planning to adopt four more villages.
He said he had met D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, requesting him to extend help through his Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project to develop model villages in Ballari district.
