The Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 in Karnataka will now be conducted on April 29 and 30.
The examinations were earlier scheduled for April 23 and 24, but the State government decided to postpone it as the CET schedule clashed with the parliamentary elections.
While the biology and mathematics exams will be conducted on April 29, physics and chemistry will be conducted on April 30. The Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates will be held on May 1.
CET is the gateway for candidates who wish to obtain government and government quota seats in engineering, farm sciences, pharmacy courses among others. So far, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has received 2.5 lakh applications for CET 2019.
