CEO selected to train DCs in New Delhi

Impressed by the performance of the district in implementing “Swachcha Bharat” Mission (SBA), the Union Government has selected Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rohini Sindhuri to train District Collectors/Deputy Commissioners of various States in New Delhi.

The Mandya Zilla Panchayat has launched a massive drive to provide individual toilets to 1.02 lakh households during 2014-15. And, since July last year, it had constructed 75,000 individual toilets across the district.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has selected Ms. Sindhuri - and two other officials - as Resource Persons for the two-day orientation training programme on SBA, which will start in New Delhi on Thursday.

Two other resource persons are: Aarti Dogra, Deputy Commissioner of Bikaner district, and Ganesh Mishra, Additional Collector of Harda district, Sandhya Singh, Joint Director of the Ministry, stated in the communiqué dispatched to the Department for Rural Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation.
