B. Jayashree opens up on #MeToo

Former Rajya Sabha member and senior theatre actor, B. Jayashree has said that she has also gone through the #MeToo experience.

Speaking to reporters in Tumakuru on Friday, Ms. Jayashree said that she has written about her life in the autobiography ‘Kanna Muchche Kaade Goode’ so that no other woman should go through what she has suffered in life.

‘Be careful’

She said, “I have shared my experience so that women can be more careful.”

She said there is nothing wrong in speaking about one’s experience and pain on social media.
