A 60-year-old man allegedly raped a minor girl at a village under Vemagal police limits recently.
According to the complaint lodged with the police, the man, identified as Venkatesh, entered the house when the 12-year-old girl was alone and sexually assaulted her. The girl belongs to the Scheduled Tribe community.
Police have booked a case under POCSO and arrested the accused.
