Many students felt that the The Hindu EducationPlus Career Counselling-2016 event helped them clarify their doubts and prepare themselves for admissions to various professional programmes.

As the document verification of CET rank-holders had commenced from Friday, students said they are heading home with a clear mind on the admission procedures and other formalities. While Manaswini, a student, said, “The event helped me to clear my doubts. It helped to build confidence ahead of the counselling,” Chetana, who attended the programme with her friends, said she was yet to decide on her career but the programme gave an opportunity to understand the variety of options before them. The information shared by the experts was useful and valuable, she added.

Her friend, Sanjana, said she wanted to know more about lesser-known branches of engineering and the career opportunities for them. “I got the answers and I have made up my mind on my career.” Tushar, a II PU student, said the career counselling programme was informative.
