The BJP parliamentary party on Tuesday went on the offensive against the Congress accusing it of being a “disruptive Opposition” for boycotting Parliament over suspension of its Lok Sabha MPs and dubbing the move as a “black day for democracy.’’

The party stood its ground of “no action” against any of the BJP leaders charged with misdemeanour and impropriety. “None of our Ministers did any wrong. There is no issue, no reason for anyone to resign,” said Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu. The parliamentary party meeting, attended among others by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adopted a strongly worded resolution on the “obstructionist Parliamentary strategy of the Congress during the monsoon session.”
