Village and Ward Secretariat job aspirants staged protests at a cell tower in Krishnalanka on Tuesday demanding that the government recruit them as per the rules.
Some of the protesters climbed the cell tower and raised slogans demanding that the government pay heed to their requests and recruit them as Village Horticulture Assistants.
‘No help from govt.’
The protesters have alleged that they were not recruited despite qualifying in the examination and the interview.
One of the protesters, Mr. Raju, said that they have resorted to staging demonstration as there was no help even after meeting the Governor and higher officials.
They sought the intervention of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
