Students of Sri Vijnana Vihara English Medium School celebrated ‘Rain Day’ on the school premises at Enikepadu here on Saturday.

Students wearing colourful raincoats and umbrellas participated in the event.

Teachers explained the importance of maintaining natural balance, greenery, rainfall, and rainwater conservation, to LKG and UKG students.

They sang songs welcoming the rain god and enjoyed in the rain.“When I got up from the bed, I saw it was raining. The rain continued till afternoon. The weather was good and my father dropped me on his bike,” said a student Kittu.
