A delegation of the Telugu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) visited Sri City on Wednesday to discuss with the city’s Managing Director the possibility of training SC/ST and women entrepreneurs in the neighbouring mandals of Sri City.

Welcoming the team headed by Chairman A. David Brainard, founder and Managing Director of Sri City Ravindra Sannareddy lauded the vision of the TCCI of empowering SC/ST and women entrepreneurs.

He said, “Your mission of training SC/ST women to be job-providers and not merely job-seekers would go a long way in fighting the backwardness of the region”. Mr. Brainard appreciated the voluntary work of Sri City in ensuring equal opportunity to the communities to produce entrepreneurs.

They discussed an action plan for the training and the State and Central government policies relating to welfare of the communities. They agreed to meet periodically to make the plan a reality.
