TRS senior leader Jannu Jacharaiah has quit the party and joined Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) here on Friday.

Mr Jacharaiah, who has been associated with the revolutionary movement and a noted trade union leader, was with the TRS party since its inception. He says he was sidelined by the party leadership and was forced to go out in the past.

He contested on Praja Rajyam ticket in last Assembly elections from Wardhannapet and lost the election. He again joined TRS party with a hope, but in vain.
