Hundreds of DSC candidates, particularly those from other places, had to put up with lot of hardship because of the strike by APSRTC employees on Monday.

Many candidates are working in private schools in places such as Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, but have opted for Srikakulam under native district category.

They had to spend extra amount to travel by private buses and cabs to reach the examination centres.

The district administration said that 28,000 candidates attended the Teacher Eligibility Test and Teacher Recruitment Test. They heaved a sigh of relief as the examinations concluded without any hitch.
