Telugu Desam president, N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said the party was ready to face byelections to the seven Assembly constituencies.

Responding to a question, Mr. Naidu made light of the TRS leaders comments that his party candidates may lose deposits and said: “You will soon see where will they be”. The party would contest all seats and there may not be any alliance with other parties.

To another question he reminded former TD MLA, Nagam Janardhan Reddy from Nagarkurnool constituency, that it was TDP that gave him political career.

Meanwhile party sources said candidates for these constituencies have already been sounded.

The candidates are Marri Janardhan Reddy (Nagarkurnool), Kadiam Srihari (Station Ghanpur), C. R. Jagadishwar Rao (Kollapur), P. Chandrasekhar (Mahbubnagar), Mettu Venugopal (Kamareddy), Payal Shankar (Adilabad) and Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy (Kovvur).
