Temperatures in the State fell slightly on Friday also under the impact of the South-West monsoon which advanced into more parts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
It is likely to take at least two more days to reach Andhra Pradesh.
Sluggish movement
The Met Office said the monsoon movement was sluggish towards Andhra Pradesh, although favourable weather conditions existed.
Rentachintala in Guntur district recorded the highest temperature of 45 degrees C. Moderate heat wave conditions prevailed in Krishna, Guntur, East Godavari and West Godavari.

The temperatures recorded at a few places in the State on Friday were: Bapatla 43.6 C; Nadigama 42.5 C, Arogyavaram 34 C; Tirupati 41.4 C; Kurnool 39.5 C; Nellore 41 C; Ongole 42.6 C, Narsapur 43.4 C; Gannavaram 43.3 C; Tuni 44.7 C; Kalingapatnam 40.6; Machilipatnam 43.7 C; Kakinada 44.4 C; Waltair 35.6 C; Nizamabad 41.2 C; Anantapur 38.8 C and Ramagundam 42.2 C.
