It’s an exercise by TDP to keep its flock together: YSRC

May 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:02 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Opposition YSR Congress on Friday described the three-day Mahanadu as an ‘exercise by the TDP to keep its flock together and level baseless allegations against the Opposition’.

Though TDP had boasted itself of growing into a national party, there is no clarity on its policies and objectives, Deputy Floor Leader of YSR Congress in Assembly, Jyothula Nehru, said here on Friday. “The way leaders spoke during Mahanadu makes it clear that TDP is trying hard to keep its flock together even as people are vexed with its anti-people policies”. There was no discussion on the future programmes of the party., if any. “The event has failed to put forth views on waiver of farmer and women SHG loans, capital city formation and other core issues but has devoted more time on elevating the political heir of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.

Meanwhile, Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who still remains an MLA of TDP technically, criticised Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh for their outbursts against him and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
