Following speculation that YSR Congress party MLA from Bobbili R.V. Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao and his brother R.V.S.K.K. Ranga Rao alias Baby Nayana, former municipal chairperson of Bobbili, are likely to join TDP, emissaries sent by the leadership rushed to Bobbili, but had to return without meeting the brothers as they were ‘‘not available.’’ The team consisted of Mr. Vijaya Sai Reddy, MLAs Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and P. Rajanna Dora (Salur), party district president and MLC Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, and party district in-charge Dharmana Krishna Das.

Mr. Vijaya Sai Reddy said that “it is not proper for any MLA elected on a party B form to cross over to another party. If at all they wish to do so they must resign from the primary membership of the party and posts.”
