Taking a serious view of public complaints about the delay and allegations of corruption in issuing e-pattadar pass books in the mandal revenue offices, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy has directed the Joint Collectors to take responsibility for issuing pass books within the stipulated timelines.

Addressing a conference of Joint Collectors here on Saturday, Mr. Krishnamurthy said the government’s image was taking a beating as people were forced to go round the mandal revenue offices and Mee Seva centres for various certificates and land related documents.

“There are shortcomings in both Mee Seva centres and MRO offices. You need come with proposals to fix the lacunae," he told the Joint Collectors.
