CM criticises Cong, YSRC on water issues

Chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu criticised the Congress party and YSRC party leaders for opposing the TDP government’s committed move to bring waters to the drought-prone Rayalaseema region through Pattiseema project. . Mr. Naidu was interacting with farmers at Angallu village near Madanapalle on Thursday night, after inspecting the Punganur branch canal attached to the Handri-Neeva project. “It is unfortunate that leaders of these two parties in Rayalaseema are scuttling our efforts to bring water to their own region to foster their vested interests.” Mr. Naidu said.
