CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh unit has asked Telangana Rashtra Samiti government in Telangana to name Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the cash-for-vote case.

Party State secretary and former MP P. Madhu on Sunday said any delay on the part of Telangana government would strengthen the suspicion that the TRS leadership was under pressure from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and members of National Democratic Alliance Government at the Centre.

The CPI (M) leader alleged that Mr. Naidu and his partymen had tried to resort to horse-trading to bag majority of seats in the zilla parishad, mandal parishad and municipal elections in the past.
