Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah faced some embarrassing moments, first with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, then with YSR's followers and subsequently with the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti cadre when he came here to take part in the Congress party celebrations on Monday.

At the helipad at KITS College, TRS MLA D. Vinay Bhaskar raised slogans and forced his way toward the Chief Minister and demanded to know whether he had a right to submit a memorandum. Mr. Rosaiah pacified him and spent a few minutes listening to him.

Soon after reaching the venue of the party meeting on the outskirts of Hanamkonda, a section of the crowd raised slogans, leading to chaos.

They prevented Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah and Labour Minister R. Venkat Reddy from speaking until they invoked the name of the late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and eulogised his contribution to the party.

The slogan shouting continued even when the Chief Minister rose to speak.

The party leaders and policemen tried to calm them, but in vain.
