Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked officials to take action on complaints relating to distribution of pension, loan waiver and ration cards.

During a teleconference with officials on the ongoing Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme on Monday, he told them to update data in real-time and use technology for better and faster results.

Pointing out that many pensioners were buying medicines, he asked the officials to use Grama Sabhas as a platform to create awareness on the government’s free medicine distribution scheme.

He directed the district administration to move away from routine and adopt innovative practices for effective implementation of the welfare schemes.

Meanwhile, Mr. Naidu ordered a probe into reports of mixing bran with wheat flour in Chandranna Kanuka packet in Vizianagaram District. Later, the collectors elaborated on the progress of the Janmabhoomi – Maa Vooru programme in each of the 13 districts.
