50 kg ganja seized, two held

Police have seized 50 kg ganja worth ₹2.50 lakh on Saturday near Madduluru village in this mandal.

Circle Inspector Y. Ravikumar and Sub-Inspector S. Tulasiram with their force were conducting vehicle checking on Maredumilli-Bhadrachalam road and found a vehicle coming from Gurthedu. They intercepted the vehicle and found 50 kg ganja which is being transported to Warangal. They took two persons into custody and seized the vehicle.
