A radical Muslim preacher from India has been banned from coming to the United Kingdom because of his alleged extremist views.

Zakir Naik, known for his often inflammatory television sermons, was due to give a series of lectures in Britain, but the government said he would not be allowed to enter the country because of his “unacceptable behaviour” that included comments purporting to glorify terrorism.

Home Secretary Theresa May said Dr. Naik's visit was not conducive to public good.
