Hemraj's wife points the finger at Talwars

March 28, 2011 02:28 am | Updated November 17, 2021 04:33 am IST - Noida:

The wife of Hemraj, who was killed along with teenager Aarushi, has repeated her allegation that the dentist couple, the Talwars, were involved in the killing of her husband.

Khumkala Banjade, a resident of Arghakhanchi district in Nepal, levelled the charge in her application filed before the special CBI court on Saturday.

Hemraj's body was seen on the terrace of the Talwars' flat here a day after their daughter was found murdered in her room on May 16, 2008.

At a press meet, Ms. Banjade, 43, said none of the probing agencies recorded her statement, and claimed that she was privy to some information which Hemraj, who was the Talwars' domestic help, shared with her on the phone barely 15 days before he was killed.

Ms. Banjade said she suspected the Talwars' hand in the killing of both Aarushi and Hemraj.
