The Enforcement Directorate may soon seek information from over six countries as it intends to attach properties of underworld fugitive Dawood Ibrahim’s aide Mohammed Iqbal Memon, alias Mirchi, who died of a heart attack in the United Kingdom about two years ago.
Letters Rogatory are soon to be sent to the U.K., the UAE, Spain, Cyprus and other countries to get details of transactions and properties associated with Mirchi, who allegedly acquired properties in posh localities in Mumbai.
