Indian troops fire on LoC

Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing after midnight on Sunday at Bhattal Sector on the Line of Control (LoC), according to military sources. Indian troops fired small arms and mortars. Pakistani troops responded effectively to Indian firing. No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far. Pakistan has lodged protest with Indian authorities, the sources said.
