A moderate earthquake measuring 5.3 at the Richter scale jolted Pakistan’s Punjab province on Friday but there were no reports of loss of life and property.
The tremors were felt in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Och Sharif and adjoining areas.
There are no reports of loss of life and property. The earthquake hit around 5:30 a.m., The Express Tribune reported.
The epicentre of the earthquake was Dajal in southern Punjab, according to the US Geological Survey.
Pakistani officials did not comment on the tremor.
