Interactive session on food hygiene

JIPMER will hold an interactive session on Tuesday focusing on food hygiene, buying/ eating safe food health impact of unsafe food.

Continuing its ‘Health Education Initiative’, JIPMER will hold an interactive session on Tuesday focusing on food hygiene, buying/ eating safe food health impact of unsafe food how to ensure food is safe and common food adulterants.

The series of public education initiatives organised under the auspices of JIPMER’s “Health Education for All” Forum had been launched on May 26 with the aim to improve public awareness on health and disease.

Tuesday’s session will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will be addressed by specialist doctors from the Department of Medicine, P&SM and Department of Food Safety, Government of Puducherry.

For easy understanding of the public, the session will be delivered in Tamil. The session will be held in the conference hall on the third floor of the Super Specialty Block.

There is no prior registration or registration fee.
