Bid to complement efforts to control dengue and meet need for blood platelets

Raj Nivas on Monday organised a blood donation camp led by Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi.

According to a press note, the camp was organised in association with Jipmer to complement the ongoing efforts in controlling and preventing dengue and meet the requirement of blood platelets for needy patients in hospitals which were facing a shortage of components. The entire Raj Nivas community voluntarily donated blood.

The officers and staff who donated blood were issued certificates by Jipmer.

Appeal

Later, the Lt. Governor appealed to all the departments to conduct such camps involving the Government General Hospital/Jipmer.
