Mumbai: Tejashwi Yadav, former deputy chief minister of Bihar and son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, has expressed concern at his father's ‘falling health’. Mr. Prasad has been admitted to Asian Heart Institute in Bandra Kurla Complex for some time now. After visiting his father on Monday, Mr. Yadav wrote on social media that his father was admitted due to ‘various diseases’.

“Perturbed to see his falling health & increased infection. Praying that he may recover soon under the around-the-clock monitoring & continuous medical care of specialist doctors,” he said. Mr. Prasad had undergone a bypass surgery at the same hospital a few years ago. He has been granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court for the treatment after being convicted in the fodder scam.
