AI flight from Goa gets stuck on runway

Flight operations at the Mumbai international airport in Andheri had to be shifted to the secondary runway on Monday after an Air India flight from Goa remained stuck on the main runway following a hydraulic failure.

The flight, AI-662, had declared an emergency at 8.36 p.m. An airport spokesperson said, “The aircraft landed safely at 9.18 p.m. The main runway was shut till 9.40 p.m. when it was handed over for operations.” At 10.30 p.m., the airport reported a 32-minute delay in arrivals.
