Qualification as Mechanical Electrical engineer under question.

June 13, 2015 02:26 am | Updated November 16, 2021 05:00 pm IST - MUMBAI:

A police complaint accusing the former Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal of falsely declaring his educational qualification was lodged on Friday.

The complainant, social activist Sanjeev Khandekar, said that while gathering records on assets owned by the NCP leader, he had come across several documents and web pages where Mr. Bhujbal had “falsely declared his educational qualification as a Mechanical Electrical engineer.”

The police said they were looking into the complaint.

Mr. Khandekar, along with fellow activist Anjali Damania, submitted complaints before the Maharashtra Anti Corruption Bureau accusing Mr. Bhujbal of corruption. In the past four days, ACB has registered FIR stating Mr. Bhujbal and his kin took kickbacks for contracts when he was minister.
