Probe on to trace missing students

Preliminary investigation by the Nallalam police has shown that the three boys from Pantheerankavu who have gone missing since Saturday had around ₹75,000 with them and that they reportedly left for Goa on a pleasure trip.

Though one of the students had a mobile phone, the phone went switched off. The cyber cell is helping the police track the 15-year-old boys, who are Class X students at a school at Pantheerankavu.

The police said there were no issues in the families of the three students. The boys had planned the trip and secured money from their houses for the purpose. “We will be able to track them in three days,” the police said.
