From September 1, Air India’s flight (AI-657/658) from Delhi will not touch down at Kozhikode. Air India has been operating this service in the Delhi- Mumbai- Coimbatore- Kozhikode sector.
The airline’s office in Kozhikode said in a release on Monday that the flight would not touch Kozhikode because of “non-availability of runway”.
An official source said the pullout was because of the works to re-carpet the runway, indicating that the flight would not be operated up to Kozhikode till the works were completed.
It would be operated only in the Delhi- Mumbai- Coimbatore sector.
