A traffic awareness campaign was organised at traffic signals across the city on Sunday. Volunteers of Thozhan organised the event to create awareness on obeying traffic  signals, safe road crossing by pedestrians, need for helmets and seat belts, risks of driving with mobile phones and drunken driving.

Volunteers guided vehicles at signals and explained the necessity of wearing seat belts and helmets. Letika Saran, former Director General of Police, extended her support to the event. Volunteers distributed pamphlets on road safety.
