Amid the perception that promotions for actor Rajinikanth’s much awaited next Kaala , releasing on June 7, have been somewhat subdued, the trailer of the film was released on social media on Monday by producer Dhanush.
Sources close to the actor say that he had asked those associated with the film to maintain a low profile and let the film do the talking when it releases in theatres.
On Monday, Kaala ’ s emoji was launched on Twitter. The teaser, which was released a couple of months ago, featured a monologue that became a huge hit on social media.
Actor Rajinikanth will soon start shooting for his next with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. The ₹500 crore film, 2.0 , is likely to release in August.
