The act of four women stealing silk saris in a textile showroom in Ashok Nagar has been caught on camera.
The four women accompanied by a middle-aged man entered the sari showroom located on 10th Avenue, Ashok Nagar at 3.50 p.m. on Tuesday. They pretended to be customers. While a sales girl was displaying the saris to one of them in a corner, the other three are seen taking saris from the table and concealing them inside their saris. Only after they left the shop without buying anything, did the sales girl notice 16 silk saris missing. After reviewing CCTV footage, the Ashok Nagar police are investigating.
