Actor Sri Reddy complains of abuse and harassment

Telugu actor Sri Reddy, who spearheaded the protest against casting couch culture in the film industry, visited the Police Commissioner’s office on Friday and lodged a complaint of criminal intimidation and verbal abuse by a social activist and film-maker.

Ms. Sri Reddy had triggered a controversy by staging a protest on April 7 before the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad.

Later, she accused a Tamil director and a couple of actors of sexually abusing her after promising to cast her in their films.
