A 24-year-old was killed and her friend sustained serious injuries when a speeding cab knocked their motorcycle on Outer Ring Road in Banasawadi on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Anvitha (24), a native of Hyderabad and the injured motorcycle rider is Siddhartha (24) has been admitted to a private hospital.
According to the police, the B.Tech graduates had come to Bengaluru to look for jobs. They were on their way to a friend’s house when the accident occurred.
The Banasawadi police have taken up a case of hit-and-run and are investigating further.
