Mixed reactions to exam rescheduling

March 25, 2016 12:00 am | Updated September 06, 2016 03:00 pm IST - BENGALURU:

The rescheduling of the II PU chemistry examination from March 29 to March 31 has helped some students who will appear for Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam or Arabic paper on March 28 as they will get a breather to prepare for the chemistry exam. The Chemistry exam held on March 21 was cancelled following question paper leak.

A student who will appear for the Kannada paper said she was worried that she would get only half a day to prepare for the Chemistry exam. “I was even re-working my preparation strategy and studying from the handbook instead of the textbook. Now, I will have time to read and also revise 16 chapters in chemistry,” she said, and added that rescheduling announcement, however, came a little late.

However, a student who did not have any exam scheduled for March 28 was disappointed as he wanted the exams to be over by March 29 so that he would have more than a week to prepare for his JEE Main. “Now, I will have to study PU portions till March 31 and will get just three days to prepare for the JEE,” he said.
