‘Have to search for roads not potholes in some place’

“Forget about potholes, are there roads in some places? One has to search for roads not potholes near Hebbal flyover.”

A Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice Dinesh Maheshwari and Justice Aravind Kumar, made these observations orally when the Counsel, representing the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), sought time to file affidavits during the hearing of a PIL petition, through which the court is monitoring the actions of civic bodies to maintain roads.

“Have look at the condition of the road near Cantonment Railway Station,” the Bench also observed.

Further hearing has been adjourned till January 30.
