Lack of civic sense has forced the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation to deploy guards and vehicle patrolling on stretches that have been identified as vulnerable to dumping garbage and debris. They will guard these stretches from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to prevent it.

While on Halasoor Road and Lakshmi Road in Reach 1, guards have been deployed for foot patrolling, from Navarang Circle and Railway Bridge covering Srirampuram and Malleswaram Railway Station guards have been deployed for both foot and vehicle patrolling.
