The police have arrested four people for allegedly assaulting civic officials who were removing illegal flexes and banners near the tin factory in Ramamurthy Nagar. The accused — Kamalnath, 27, Surya, 21, Samson, 18, Rajendran, 29 — are residents of Udaya Nagar near A. Narayanapura. Police are looking for two more suspects Santhosh and Saravana. They are not connected to any political party, police added.
