According to officials, Adeshappa, a resident of Raichur, reported for duty on August 2015 and started working in the sixth unit of Bescom, east division. As per the procedure, the original documents of his educational qualifications were submitted to the Industrial Training and Employment Committee for verification. Recently, the committee submitted a report saying the documents were fake.

Based on the report, Shanthamallappa, executive engineer of Indiranagar sub division, filed a cheating and forgery complaint against Adeshappa, who is on the run.
