A private bus proceeding towards Okalipuram was stuck at the underbridge near the Bangalore City Railway Station on Sunday.

According to the Malleswaram traffic police, the bus that had parcels on the rooftop got stuck at the underbridge around 9.30 p.m. This affected the movement of traffic towards Rajajinagar and Magadi Road.

While light motor vehicles were allowed to pass through the underbridge, the traffic police diverted heavy vehicles towards the Krishna Floor Mills Junction. It took nearly two hours for the bus to be freed and the traffic police to clear traffic.

Traffic jam

Slow movement of buses into the Kempegowda bus station caused traffic jam on Platform Road on Sunday. Buses from Rajajinagar, Mahalakshmi Layout, Chandra Layout and Vijayanagar were stuck for nearly an hour.
