The traffic police booked 9,604 cases and collected a fine of ₹34,72,500 from motorists on Sunday and Monday.
As many as 3,295 cases of riding without helmet have been booked followed by 1,229 cases of jumping traffic signals, and 1,259 cases of wrong parking.
The police have also booked 75 motorists for drunk driving and referred the cases to the court concerned with regard to the penalty.
